WE MUST FIGHT FOR OUR CHILDREN, FIGHT FOR FAMILIES AND DEMAND REFORMATION OF OUR CHILD WELFARE AND FAMILY COURT JUDICAL SYSTEM .......ITS TIME FOR NEW LAWS AND POLICIES THAT PROTECTS CHILDREN AND FAMILY FROM A BROKEN FAILED CHILD WELFARE AND CORRUPT FAMILY COURT.
WE MUST RISE UP , MARCH and PROTEST AGAINST THIS SYSTEMIC CORRUPTION and put a DEMAND ON CHILD WELFARE COMMISSIONERS to IMPLEMENT PRO-PARENT INITIATIVES that SUPPORTS and EXPEDITES REUNIFICATION OF FAMILIES.............
The child welfare system and Family Court Judicial system has failed children and families....this constitutes NEGLECT< ABUSE<MALTREATMENT of FAMILIES and CHILDREN in the CARE and CUSTODY of the Commissioners of Social Services.
Adoption and Safe Family Act
ASFA is a PRO-Adoption Law.
ASFA expedites Termination of Parental Rights for the parents who have been failed by the Child Welfare System, Service Provider foster care Agencies and Family Court. It's been almost 30 years since the law was written and the ASFA law needs to come up for review as we now know that there are many gaps, barriers and systemic failures on the path towards Family Reunification.
Systemic Failures MUST be Confronted, Investigated and Corrected.

CPS engage in poor case work practices that impedes expedited service plans and service provision by their failure to expedite referrals for families in Timely manner.

Failure of Case planners to effectively communicate and empower parents in their parental role around their children's medical, education and mental health needs and services. This is only communicated when consents needs to be signed by the parents.

Case planners falsifiaction of progress notes where there have been no visits to foster homes to ensure safety of the children under the care and custody of the Commissioner, which is a child safety concern.

Progress notes being removed by mangers that supports the progress of the birth parents.

High Turnover in Department of Child Protection field offices where there were no assigned CPS for months, hence there is a lapse in referrals and services for the parents.

High turnovers in the foster care agencies that creates gaps and barriers in service provision to families.

The criminal act of removing of emails and progress notes documentation by children welfare managers that protects them from being exposed from critical case concerns for which they failed to follow up.

Ongoing and gross violation of parental Rights by CPS and Foster care Caseplanners

Lack of strength based case practice that empowers the parents but is rather punitive and hostile towards parents.

Lack of workshops for parents that promotes reunification preparedness, while ther are so many for foster parents.

Manipulation and weaponization of courts report to the court that goes intentionally against the parents.

Foster parents sabotaging reunification for financial gain ( The maximum adoption credit taxpayers can claim on their 2021 tax return is $15,590 per eligible child.)

The problem of retaining those staff who are willing and is complicit in trafficking children and the undermining of court reports towards supporting such endeavors.

The problem of forcing integral and ethical staff out of their position because they will not be complicit with sabotaging cases and engage in corrupt practices.

A culture of abuse and harrassment of staff who refuses to falsify progress notes that goes against parents ( such staff are usually forced out)

Manager sabotaging the progress notes of staff to write them up and push them towards termination if they fail to comply with unethical practicies.

Non-disclosure of Kinship to the court in reports to the court.

A lack of worskshops in the foster care agency for our youth/teen to safeguard and inform them about sex trafficking, how to recognize the red flags, luring, grooming, etc.

Failure to do due diligence to interview youth about being trafficked and getting law enforcement involved to follow up leads for arrest to be made.
